Gaydio in Europe with British Airways

Reaching 1 million people through vibrant visuals, scroll-stopping social activations and captivating on-air content, Gaydio teamed up with British Airways to highlight LGBTQ+ friendly destinations served by routes from London Gatwick through a bespoke Gaydio Original Podcast – Gaydio in Europe with British Airways.

To spark even more excitement, listeners had the chance to win dream escapes to sun-soaked hotspots featured throughout the ‘Gaydio in Europe’ podcast series including Nice, Amsterdam, Gran Canaria, Malta and Thessaloniki.

In 2026, the series hosted a live podcast recording in front of an audience in London as we worked together to debut BA’s new route to Graz.

In 2025 and 2026, the series won the Campaign Audio Advertising Award for Best Branded Series – B2C.

To further promote other destinations across the continent served by British Airways, a ‘European Pride Guide’ was introduced to the Gaydio audience.

Supporting media to drive awareness of the guide spanned on air including live presenter reads and promotional trails as well as digital activity including social and newsletters.

In 2023, Gaydio and British Airways hosted Flight Night – a club takeover in Brighton with a chance to win flights to a European destination as well as a star performance from Drag Race UK alumni, Black Peppa.
